40 days until the launch. It was suggested yesterday during our meeting that each person in the group fast something during these 40 days.
We loved the idea and everyone will decide on their own what they will fast. After all it is between the Lord and them. I know what I will fast and believe me it will be hard with Easter being around the corner! But I can do it. Philippians 4:13 says "We can do all things through Him who gives us strength." So I will be strong... but I will miss the chocolate! *grin*
Also, Tyler strongly suggested that every person in the group have 2-3 accountability partners - including one from outside of H.E.A.T. . Rob and I agreed with this. It is important for leaders to be accountable. Everyone has about 2 weeks to think about who they will ask to be their accountability partners.
The countdown has started indeed.

WOW! I had heard that someone was doing this in Ottawa, but stumbled on your fcbk group by accident which lead me here. Praise God. I have a bit of a history myself with the rave/club scene (my husband more so). God is taking us in a different direction than what you're doing but perhaps it would interest you none-the-less, especially if you are looking at evangelising to club/rave kids.
God put on my husbands heart to reach out to youth/young adults to inform them about addiction and the freeing power of the Holy Spirit.
